The QAQS board has been hard at work with pre-season planning. Below is a guideline on teams, times, and locations, but the specific team details will be sent by your coach on Team Snap.

14U teams:
8th Grade Team, Coaches:
Tuesday and Thursday nights at Lower Woodland 7-8:30. Practice starts the week of February 27.
7th Grade Team, Coaches:
Tuesday and Thursday nights at Lower Woodland 7-8:30. Practice starts the week of February 27.
12U team:
5th & 6th Grade Team, Coaches:
Monday and Wednesday nights at Lower Woodland 7-8:30. Practice starts the week of February 27.
10U teams:
4th Grade Team, Coaches:
Friday night at Queen Anne Bowl. Plays a full spring season, but on a smaller sized field. Practice starts the week of February 27.
3rd Grade Team, Coaches:
Friday night at Queen Anne Bowl. Plays a full spring season, but on a smaller sized field. Practice starts the week of February 27.
8U team:
1st and 2nd Grade Team
Friday night at Queen Anne Bowl. Plays a shorter spring season beginning after daylight saving time.
Practice Locations: Our fields are Queen Anne Bowl, Lower Woodland #2, Ballard High School and Interbay (turf field). Practices will start the week of February 27 (except 8U).
Games: Games are Saturdays and Sundays. Our home field is Queen Anne Bowl. Your team will car travel. In order to grow the game, it is important we make every attempt to field full teams for each game regardless of the location.
Volunteer jobs: We are a volunteer-based organization and rely on everyone’s participation for a successful season. We have a wonderful dedicated board and are looking to add to this group so if you have special talents or would like to join the board please reach out to me. Your coaches will need help as well and you can start by signing up to be the Team Manager, Field Set-Up and Sideline Manager (who controls the parents). Please get involved — it is fun and necessary!

Team Snap app is how coaches communicate with teams. Your coach will invite you to join Team Snap. Team Snap also streamlines our Covid Health Check system and Contact Tracing as part of confirming availability for practices and games.
Time commitment: Our goal is registered players attend 75% of all team practices and games. This allows the girls to see improvement in their skills, build camaraderie as a team, learn to play together and feel a part of this program. We encourage our players to play multiple sports and communication is important. If you have a conflict and will miss a practice/game please let your Coach and Team Manager know ahead of time using Team Snap. This is respectful and it allows everyone to plan accordingly.
