Team Manager Responsibility

 
 
Communication (Website):
 
  1. Communicate via website account with families, coaches and roster on important details of the season with updates as needed
  2. Provide weekly reminders via webiste regarding game schedule
  3. Monitor RSVP’s on website for games
  4. Maintain an updated roster and contact information on website
  5. Be the liaison between coaches and players/families
 
 
Roster:
 
  1. Verify that all players have an updated US Lacrosse Membership Number
  2. Verify that all players have a signed Code of Conduct Form on file
  3. Verify that all players have a signed Concussion Form on file
  4. Verify that all players have their Medical information on file
  5. Maintain an updated roster and contact information on website
  6. Maintain an updated roster with emergency contact information
 
 
Schedule:
 
  1. Maintain an updated schedule on website
  2. Distribute game schedule to team
 
 
Uniforms:
 
  1. Distribute uniforms and collect refundable deposit ($50)
  2. Maintain spreadsheet to verify deposit collection and return
  3. Collect uniforms and return deposit at end of the year
 
 
Practices:
 
  1. Cover for coach as required
  2. Stay at field to help if there is an emergency (have files on hand)
  3. Stay at field until all children are picked up
  4. Make sure equipment is available for practice
  5. Make sure lacrosse goals are put away and secured
  6. Make sure medical kit is available during practice
  7. Maintain safety at 3rd Ave crosswalk
 
 
 
 
Games:
 
  1. Verify and Schedule that a Timer/Scorekeeper are available for home games
  2. Make sure goalie equipment and gear is in playable condition and at game site
  3. Make sure binders with score sheets, rulebooks, concussion information and rosters are at game
  4. Make sure medical kit, scoreboard, timer, shelter, score table and air horn are set up ½ hour before start of home game
  5. Make sure officials are scheduled for home game and have contact information
  6. Provide liaison between teams
  7. Select a sideline manager for both home and away games
  8. Make sure lacrosse goals are put away and secured at home games
  9. Make sure that game scores are submited within 24 hours of end of game by either yourself or score keeper
 
 
Equipment:
 
  1. Make sure equipment is available for practice
  2. Maintain all equipment and make sure it is in playable condition
  3. Maintain inventory of  equipment
  4. Notify head of QAQS when equipment is needed
 
 
Meetings
 
  1. Attend QAQS and League Meetings as requested
 
 
Issues:
 
  1. Moderate issues between players, parents, coaches, etc.
  2. Moderate issues with referees, fans, opposing coaches, etc.
  3. Provide information of issues to QAQS director.
 
Other:
 
  1. Solicit volunteer assistance with practice/game/program activities
  2. Set up Game Snack  program, if desired
  3. Set up Coach Gift at the end of the season
